Our inspiration for creating Lirides was drawn from the almost poetic nights of summer in Greece, particularly in the iconic Ionian islands. Lirides (pronounced lee-ree-des) refers to a spectacular shower of particularly bright shooting stars (in reality, meteors) within the constellation of Lyra. Lyra is named after the lyre, the musical instrument of the legendary Orpheus, the mythological musician and poet of Ancient Greece.

Conveniently located near the heart of Lefkada’s main town yet nestled in a charming, secluded neighborhood, Lirides is carefully curated to envelop guests in unpretentious charm, comfort, and authenticity. Designed to provide a laid-back, homey experience, Lirides consists of three suites and one maisonette, creating a minimalistic microcosm with a contemporary ambiance. This setting serves as an ideal starting point for modern explorers to discover our blessed island.
